After some much needed vegging this morning (thank you Downtown Live and Beer), I primed and painted my IKEA brackets and the wood I bought yesterday. And with Matt's help, we transformed our kitchen window from this:
To this:
I am pumped. I'm sure no one else is, but I'm excited because this little plant shelf will: (1) allow my plant collection to increase exponentially in number, and (b) block the setting sun from burning our retinas when we're working at the sink, but without blocking all that gorgeous natural light.
